IPSTYLE's client, a company that is a leading global provider of digital energy management and automation solutions in more than 100 countries, needed to prevent counterfeiting and imitation of their original products. In view of this, our team provided legal support for entering the client’s IP objects into the Ukrainian Customs Register of Intellectual Property Objects (Customs Register).
When preparing the required documents, we analyzed all the client's original goods and their packaging, provided the State Customs Service with detailed descriptions of their visual features, indicated a complete list of importers and exporters, and analyzed the presence of potential persons who may be suspected of illegally transporting the client's goods across the border.
As a result, our client's trademarks have been successfully entered into the Customs Register for one year period (a possibility of yearly renewal is provided). Therefore, now, control over the transportation of the client’s goods across the customs border of Ukraine is carried out, which is an effective tool to prevent potential intellectual property infringement.
