CEO of IPSTYLE Mariya Ortynska attended the INTA 2022 Annual Meeting Live +, where she had the honor not only to be the part of INTA discussion, but also to share information about the war in Ukraine for the international community.
This year, the Ukrainian delegation of patent attorneys, members of the National Association of Patent Attorneys of Ukraine, had their own stand at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, where #INTA2022 was held. Maria and her Ukrainian colleagues prepared presentation materials to draw the world's attention to the war in Ukraine and ask for support by words, donations, assistance to temporarily displaced persons, investments in the Ukrainian economy and intellectual property.
In addition, Mariya took part in the discussion "Technology in Society and the Future of IP Assets". In her report, Mariya outlined current trends in the use of blockchain technologies by Patent offices in various jurisdictions, including the EU and Australian IP registries. She also mentioned the launch of private registers of IP on marketplaces, which will open new opportunities for protection of rights in such e-commerce sites.
This smile in the photo speaks louder than our words: the trip was successful, and the international community learned more about trademarks as well as about Ukraine, its problems, needs and the strength of spirit of the Ukrainian people.
We believe in development, technology and Ukraine!
Especially in Ukraine 🇺🇦
