The IPSTYLE team provides free legal support for local non-governmental organization and their important social initiatives. Gen.Ukrainian which work is aimed at treating children's psychological trauma caused by war is one of them.
Gen.Ukrainian is making incredible efforts to teach children who are experiencing the loss of their parents and the horrors of the war to live in a new reality, grow up healthy and strong. Uniting like-minded individuals and philanthropists to help the children of Ukraine, it launched an educational and rehabilitation Gen.Camp. A place, where children are helped to overcome psychological trauma and the best world and new Ukrainian science-baсked programs for the rehabilitation are applied.
This initiative became a subject of world media articles, such as Forbes, The Times, The Economist, El Mundo, Vogue, ect. Meanwhile a special TV episode “Children of the War" by "Світ навиворіт" about rehabilitation camp in the Carpathians was premiered on the second anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. This is important to see.
“This is not our first pro bono project, but perhaps one of those that we are most proud of. It is about children and their - and therefore our - better future,” says Oksana Padokh, Senior IP Lawyer, IPSTYLE's Litigation and Enforcement Practice. While pro bono work occurs on a voluntary basis, she helps Gen.Ukrainian with particular issues about copyrights protection, legal relationships and children's data protection.
It is a great honor for everyone in the IPSTYLE team to be involved in the Gen.Ukrainian initiative and help in matters of intellectual property and children's personal data protection.
“We are ready to devote our time and our expertise to initiatives that encourage rethinking and make this world a better place,” she said.
