Our new client, a well-known pharmaceutical brand, received several provisional refusals in trademark registration under the international procedure of registration.
In Tajikistan, our Client received a provisional refusal based on a trademark owned by a pharmaceutical brand. In Moldova, our Client received a provisional refusal based on a trademark under national registration, owned by an international pharmaceutical company.
In order to overcome provisional refusals in Moldova and Tajikistan, IPSTYLE negotiated with the two companies. To speed up the process, IPSTYLE involved the Ukrainian offices of the above-mentioned companies in the negotiations. As a result, we obtained letters of consent from both owners of the opposed trademarks.
